Mechanical Engineer Tech Lead

📋 Description

• Lead Technical Direction for end-effector mechanical design, ensuring quality across the team.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers, raising technical bar.
• Own requirements development by gathering from customers and stakeholders.
• Design and guide mechanical components and enclosures end-to-end using 3D CAD.
• Integrate cameras, sensors, PCBAs into mechanical assemblies with E/F teams.
• Apply DFM/ DFA principles as designs move to production.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field; 6+ years in mechanical design for
• Proven track record delivering electromechanical/robotic systems from concept to production.
• Experience leading mechanical engineers and driving technical direction.
• Experience leading requirements development and test/evaluation with customers.
• 3D CAD proficiency (Siemens NX preferred), GD&T, tolerance analysis.
• Experience with 3D printing, CNC, injection moulding, sheet metal; hands-on prototyping.
