📋 Description

• Verify Medicaid eligibility and facilitate the approval process to enroll patients in FreedomCare
• Serve as SME for Medicaid eligibility questions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain patient eligibility status and communicate eligibility updates to patients and care teams.
• Assist with documentation review and ensure required materials are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with state Medicaid agencies and use online systems to verify coverage.
• Document verification outcomes and update patient records in Salesforce as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, insurance verification, or related field.
• Experience with Medicaid verification and knowledge of Medicaid regulations preferred.
• Strong customer focus with empathy, active listening, and patience for high-volume calls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage with diverse audiences.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
