📋 Description

• Lead a team on Linux initiator behavior, Fibre Channel, and NIC drivers for Pure Storage.
• Develop and maintain Linux initiator stack (NVMe/ROCE, iSCSI) and VMware issues.
• Maintain FC/SCSI target driver and NIC drivers; improve resilience and multipathing.
• Maintain Linux kernels for internal testing; document supported configurations for customers.
• Optimize Linux initiator performance; upstream Linux code and bug fixes.
• Build test automation; analyze storage performance; middleware C++ modules.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience writing Linux device drivers and/or kernel development.
• 5+ years development experience; 15+ years typical.
• Experience designing components in storage protocol stacks.
• Experience with storage protocols: SCSI (FC-SCSI or iSCSI) and NVMe Fabrics (NVMe/ROCE, NVMe/TCP or NVMe/FC).
• Experience leading engineers; mentoring; on-time delivery.
• Experience with performance analysis/optimization for storage systems.
• VMware experience with initiator stack.
