Member of Technical Staff (Security)

📋 Description

• We're building Percy, the AI agent that runs financial crime investigations end to end.
• Footprint hires the first security-focused engineering role to own the product's security boundary
• You will own vault and enclave security, the Percy sandbox boundary, end-user data path, document
• Stack includes Rust, TypeScript, Postgres, AWS (Nitro Enclaves, KMS, IAM, VPC, CloudTrail
• You’ll report directly to the Head of Engineering - Elliott Forde.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering - application security, infrastructure security, or both
• Strong understanding of encryption, key management, and access control for large PII datasets
• Experience with sandboxed compute, least privilege, and cross-tenant isolation
• Offensive security experience (pen testing, threat modeling, vulnerability research)
• Hands-on AWS security (IAM, VPC, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty)
• Experience with SOC 2 or PCI DSS audits and producing audit-ready evidence
