Metallurgist - Environmental Laboratory Testing - Minerals

📋 Description

• Conduct environmental metallurgical test procedures involving physical and/or chemical testing
• Manage client relationships/communications and meet client requirements for project completion.
• Set and control project budgets and issue project invoices.
• Manage small to medium projects of varying scope and complexity.
• Establish work flows to meet client deadlines; monitor throughput and performance.
• Compile and analyze metallurgical data; prepare substantial reports for clients.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences or related science; or equivalent with a related
• 3 to 5 years experience in a minerals testing laboratory setting.
• Experience in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy or gold metallurgy; flowsheet development; bench
• Strong project management and leadership skills; experience supervising small technical teams.
• Financial/budget responsibility and strong written/verbal communication; ability to produce clear
