Mortgage Loan Officer

📋 Description

• Originate real estate loans from multiple sources
• Set up originated loans in the bank system and process for underwriting
• Identify opportunities and provide financing sheets for listings and open houses
• Attend Realtor and Builder meetings to solicit loans
• Take applications or meet with clients at branch locations
• Promote home ownership through community outreach and first-time homebuyer classes

🎯 Requirements

• H.S. Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• NMLS registration required
• 3+ years of residential mortgage origination experience
• Proven ability to close and fund loans and meet sales goals
• Knowledge of mortgage origination processes, regulations, underwriting, and real estate lending laws
