• Own multi-region design for cross-region payments platform.
• Lead multi-cloud strategy and portability across providers.
• Define data residency and regulatory architecture.
• Ensure platform reliability, observability, and SLOs.
• Govern ADRs and cross-team reviews for architecture.
• Collaborate with Platform, Security, and Compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in multi-region app design: active-active and global load balancing.
• Hands-on with at least two cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Kubernetes (multi-cluster), service mesh, Terraform, Pulumi.
• Strong networking: BGP, Anycast, CDN, private interconnect.
• Knowledge of distributed data models and cross-region replication.
• Understanding data residency and regulatory constraints (GDPR/ADGM/DFSA, FCA).
