Multilingual Learners Case Manager (K-8)

📋 Description

• Teach English as a Second Language with small groups of ML students
• Provide bilingual instruction and support for grade-level content
• Create differentiated lesson plans to build bilingual students’ English skills
• Administer the ACCESS English proficiency test
• Attend professional development on best practices for ML students
• May provide instruction/translation at other campuses if needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Illinois PEL with Bilingual and/or ESL endorsement (required)
• Written and oral fluency in Spanish (required)
• At least two years’ experience as a lead classroom teacher (required)
• Substantial experience with Multilingual Learner students (required)
• A cleared CPS Background check before start (required)
