MV Commissioning & Electrical Safety Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a regional team of Senior Power Systems Technicians, including workload allocation
• Oversee product-level commissioning for battery storage systems, MV Skids, and associated equipment.
• Manage MV switching, energization, isolation, grounding, LOTO, testing, and turnover activities.
• Collaborate across commissioning, operations, maintenance, and client teams across North America.
• Develop and improve commissioning procedures, testing practices, and technical documentation.
• Travel to project sites across the Americas as required during commissioning milestones.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience with medium-voltage systems up to 34.5kV in utility-scale, renewable energy
• Experience supervising or authorizing MV switching, including electrical isolation, grounding
• Proven background in commissioning, operations, maintenance, or field-service of complex electrical
• Experience leading electrical technicians and field-service teams; strong leadership and
• Knowledge of North American electrical safety codes (CSA, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, OSHA) and utility
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent in electrical engineering or related discipline; practical
