📋 Description

• Own design and development of next-gen launch vehicles and production lines
• Translate system requirements into hardware concepts and trade options
• Perform hand calculations and FEA to optimize designs
• Iterate on manufacturing processes and testing in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure hardware integrates with Starship systems
• Participate in design reviews with internal teams, suppliers, and customers

🎯 Requirements

• Graduating with a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in 2027
• Degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of mechanical or fluids design/analysis/build experience
• Strong data-driven decision making and first-principles engineering fundamentals
• Experience in nimble, technically demanding environments with tight constraints
• Proven ability to manage multiple endeavors and adapt quickly
