📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day clinical activities of the screening programme with failsafe processes and
• Manage capacity planning, venue booking and rota management to meet NSC timescales.
• Lead health and safety assessment, risk assessment, business continuity and incident investigation.
• Monitor staff performance and support training to ensure high-quality service.
• Provide oversight of patient care pathways and failsafe mechanisms.
• Handle recruitment, induction, appraisal and development of staff; manage day-to-day screening team

🎯 Requirements

• Management experience including performance management of teams, with experience in diabetic eye
• Strong written and oral communication across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Initiative to prioritise tasks and solve problems with minimal supervision; adaptable to change.
• IT literacy with experience using bespoke screening database software and knowledge of information
• Openness to ongoing development and service improvement; engage with development opportunities.
• Ability to initiate and manage change.
