Optical Styling & Customer Experience Consultant

📋 Description

• Paid consulting engagement, ~10 weeks with possible extension
• Part-time, ~5-10 hours/week
• Remote-friendly with occasional in-person sessions in Draper, UT
• Embedded advisor on research/prototyping to help customers narrow frame choices
• Apply expert optical experience to site design concepts and customer testing
• Support emerging tools like virtual try-on and AI-assisted recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years as a licensed dispensing optician in retail optical
• Strong ability to guide customers from many options to a confident purchase
• Fashion-forward eyewear sense and ability to evaluate frame fit and style
• Comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous project environment
• Experience contributing to product design or customer research is a plus
