Oracle DBA - Banking

📋 Description

• Act as a key contributor supporting DBA team in migrating data from another system.
• Design, install, automate, and improve Oracle DB services across on‑prem, Exadata, and cloud
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Deliver HA/DR solutions using Data Guard, RAC, RMAN; perform restore tests and DR exercises.
• Monitor DB health and performance; develop automation using Shell, PL/SQL, Python, Ansible, or
• Plan upgrades, patching, migrations, and platform transitions (on‑prem, Exadata, OCI, Azure, AWS).

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Oracle Database installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, administration
• Deep understanding of Oracle architecture, internals, storage, optimizer behavior; best practices.
• Hands‑on with on‑prem Oracle, Exadata, and cloud DB services; PostgreSQL/other DBs a strong
• RMAN backup/recovery, DR, HA solutions, restore validation, operational resilience.
• Keen on cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and migration tools (Data Pump, RMAN, GoldenGate, AWS
• Proficiency in SQL/PL/SQL, tuning, indexing, execution plans, AWR/ASH, diagnostics.
