Payroll Specialist Lead - Poland (Individual Contributor)

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end payroll for Poland within Remote’s global payroll operations.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Tax, Finance, Product and Customer Success.
• Coordinate with payroll partners and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate, compliant payroll in assigned jurisdictions and drive process improvements.
• Champion automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• Mid-to-senior payroll operations experience in Poland with end-to-end payroll processing.
• Experience in multi-country environments and exposure to various payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and compliance.
• Stakeholder management across internal and external teams; works well in asynchronous, distributed
• Analytical, detail-oriented with problem-solving skills for complex payroll scenarios.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus; comfortable with automation/AI concepts.
