Perception & Fusion Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and integrate real-time sensor software for autonomous vehicles across multiple domains
• Design and rapidly integrate sensor fusion algorithms for heterogeneous platforms
• Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices and collect performance data
• Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams for DoD testing and demonstrations
• Interface with customers to understand use cases and triage needs during field events
• Document ongoing work and drive simulation tooling for post-processing field data

🎯 Requirements

• MS or PhD in EE, CE, Robotic Eng, CS, Optimization, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience with multiple sensor modalities (EO, IR, lidar, radar, acoustics)
• Experience training/deploying ML algorithms (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) onto integrated systems
• Experience with estimation, tracking, and fusion algorithms; comfortable in Linux and Docker
• Willingness to travel 10-20% and ability to obtain/maintain U.S. security clearance
