📋 Description

  • Deploy/test on-prem Linux and cloud (AWS or GCP).
  • Set up test instances and databases (PostgreSQL or others).
  • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins; heavy CLI usage.
  • Develop performance tests with LoadRunner, DevWeb, Apache Benchmark, Cypress; scripts in Python
  • Analyze logs and metrics to diagnose bottlenecks (PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus
  • Track issues in Jira with reproducible details; collaborate with engineers to fix.

🎯 Requirements

  • 6+ years in performance engineering, preferably with containerized, distributed cloud products.
  • Strong experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud (GCP or AWS).
  • Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, or other performance tools.
  • Scripting in Bash, Perl, or Python; SQL experience.
  • Diagnosing bottlenecks in relational queries (PostgreSQL) and using monitoring tools (New Relic
  • Familiar with Jira and agile collaboration; proactive communication.
