Performance Engineer - Benchmarking

📋 Description

• Design benchmark suites and reference workloads that reflect real-world usage and evolve with
• Build and improve benchmarking, profiling, and load-testing systems across cloud infrastructure
• Establish performance baselines, regression detection, and measurement frameworks for reliable
• Develop workflows to turn benchmark data into actionable insights, including regression triage and
• Collaborate with database, infrastructure, and product engineering to identify bottlenecks and
• Enable teams to run performance tests independently and integrate benchmarking into development

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in performance engineering, benchmarking, and profiling complex distributed
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining benchmarking systems with reproducibility and variance
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, including databases, storage, networking, and cloud
• Ability to analyze performance issues, identify root causes, and develop practical technical
• Experience creating performance tooling, automation workflows, and measurement frameworks.
• Comfortable collaborating across product, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
