Performance Engineer - Benchmarking

📋 Description

• Build and improve benchmarking systems across cloud, databases, end-to-end
• Design benchmark suites representing real-world usage
• Establish baselines, regression detection, measurement frameworks
• Develop workflows to turn data into actionable insights
• Collaborate with DB, infra, and product teams to remove bottlenecks
• Create systems for teams to run performance tests independently

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in performance engineering, benchmarking, profiling distributed systems
• Hands-on in building benchmarking systems with reproducibility and variance control
• Strong understanding of systems architecture: databases, storage, networking, cloud
• Ability to analyze performance issues and develop practical solutions
• Experience creating performance tooling, automation workflows, measurement frameworks
• Excellent communication to explain technical findings and recommendations
