Plant Accountant and Controller

📋 Description

• Handle complete general ledger accounting for a plant
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and IFRS group standards
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities; prepare VAT declarations
• Manage bank transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts
• Act as ERP Key User; participate in system implementation and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a fully qualified accountant in a production environment
• Knowledge of cost/asset accounting, product costing, operations controlling
• Experienced ERP user, ideally IFS
• Fluent in Norwegian and English; university degree in Accounting/Controlling or Finance
• Strong communication skills and ability to present financial info to senior leadership
• Interest in understanding recycling processes is a plus
