Power Electronics - Electrical Engineer I

📋 Description

• Own power electronics design impacting X-BAT system performance
• Contribute to hardware lifecycle: concept, modeling, simulation, prototyping, bring-up
• Design and analyze low/high-voltage systems: DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers
• Develop systems from <1 kW to >10 kW with focus on efficiency, thermal, EMI/EMC, reliability
• Collaborate with ECAD on PCB layout for density, thermal, EMI, manufacturability
• Execute board bring-up, debugging, and validation with test equipment

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong fundamentals in circuits, electronics, and power systems
• Hands-on experience with power electronics: converters, motor drivers, batteries, high-power systems
• Familiarity with design tools: Altium, KiCad
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, e-loads, multimeters
• Engineering team/club hands-on project experience
