Power System Engineer III

📋 Description

• Lead generation interconnection studies in WECC footprint
• Evaluate grid capacity and impacts for new generation
• Support interconnection projects with modeling and analysis
• Develop/validate PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD models for renewables
• Contribute to specialized studies (sub-synchronous resonance, etc.)
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a Power Systems Engineer or related role
• Experience with generation interconnection or power system studies preferred
• Hands-on with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD
• Knowledge of solar PV, BESS, wind tech
• Understanding of grid capacity, interconnection and modeling principles
• Experience with specialized studies a plus
