Preconstruction Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a team of Preconstruction Specialists, Engineers, and CAD/BIM modelers.
• Oversee preconstruction activities: planning, budgeting, WBS, BOM, specs, scheduling, risk.
• Develop conceptual and final estimates with Estimating team; identify cost-saving options and risk
• Lead bid process: subcontractor solicitation, scope, vendor negotiations, bid evaluation.
• Coordinate preconstruction from conceptual design to construction handoff across projects.
• Collaborate with clients, owners, architects, engineers, estimators, production teams, and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 6+ years in preconstruction, estimating, PM, or related construction discipline.
• Proven experience developing detailed conceptual and hard-bid estimates from design through handoff.
• Experience leading preconstruction activities and collaborating with owners, architects
• Strong understanding of construction processes: estimating, procurement, scheduling, permitting
• Familiarity with standardized preconstruction processes/tools: project execution checklists and
