Welds components in flat positions and fuses metal parts using gas metal arc process
Operates welding equipment and hand tools per blueprints and layout specs
Positions, aligns, and welds parts to form complete structures
Examines steel/workpieces to ensure specifications are met
Moves parts into position using hoists/cranes
Cleans welds with grinders and related equipment

🎯 Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to interpret blueprints
Ability to read a tape measure
Welding certification or prior welding experience preferred (GMAW)
Certifications/experience with moving machinery (cranes) preferred
Must pass a site weld test
