📋 Description

• Lead design and development of structural components for next-gen UAV platform.
• Own structural lifecycle from concept to production-ready hardware.
• Collaborate across aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and manufacturing teams.
• Oversee material selection for composites and aluminum alloys.
• Guide design reviews, testing, and documentation per MIL-STD and FAA standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve design processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 15+ years in aircraft structural design with ownership of components/systems.
• Strong background in composites/metallic structures; DFMA, GD&T.
• Expertise in CAD (NX/CATIA/SolidWorks) and FEA (ANSYS/Abaqus/NASTRAN).
• Clear communication and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to obtain S//UAR clearance is desired.
