Principal Board Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Define tests for complex hardware before production and field.
• Lead advanced manufacturing test strategy for Circuit Card Assemblies.
• Shape defect coverage, diagnostic resolution and production quality.
• Design and direct test strategies across optical, X-ray, in-circuit, boundary scan and functional
• Turn complex issues into clear decisions for engineering, suppliers and partners.
• Senior technical role with ownership; mentor engineers and build test capability.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in manufacturing test for high-complexity CCAs.
• Strong electronics fundamentals, CCA manufacturing processes and defect mechanisms.
• JTAG 1149.x boundary scan, iJTAG and embedded/processor-controlled functional test.
• Experience architecting, programming and debugging bed-of-nails MDA/ICT and board-level test
• Ability to define test methods, evaluation frameworks and technical criteria independently.
• Influence across engineering, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
