📋 Description

• Lead corporate governance for Perplexity and subsidiaries.
• Draft and negotiate equity and debt financings through closing.
• Own secondary transactions and liquidity programs.
• Partner on equity compensation and cap-table administration.
• Support M&A and other corporate transactions; manage outside counsel.
• Build scalable corporate legal infrastructure and processes.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active US state bar membership or in-house in CA
• At least 9+ years of law firm/in-house experience
• Proven track record in venture or growth financings and governance
• Strong cap-table and equity compensation knowledge
• Business acumen and ability to partner with cross-functional teams
• Clear communicator; capable of translating legal concepts for non-lawyers
