Principal Data Architect — Databricks Enablement

📋 Description

• Lead high-visibility data platform engagements centered on Databricks as the unified analytics/AI
• Define guardrails, standards, and self-service maturity while guiding client teams to self-serve as
• Collaborate with client business/engineering to implement top-priority use cases hands-on, then
• Translate client needs into concrete platform feature requests and guardrail requirements.
• Serve as a data engineering SME in pre-sales, shaping engagement approach and staffing.
• Coach client architects/engineers on Databricks best practices and tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep Databricks expertise: Unity Catalog, lakehouse patterns, job orchestration, governance, and
• Hands-on delivery experience with forward-deployed delivery models; comfortable early-stage
• Experience with at least two of: Terraform (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Python for analytics
• Strong documentation, communication, and ability to operate with ambiguity.
• 4+ years AWS data landscape experience; 5+ years Databricks experience; strong business acumen to
