Principal Presales Engineer - ISV

📋 Description

• Serve as a functional lead for Workday Financials and Workday Grants Management for Finance
• Design, configure, optimize, and govern financial/grants processes per Workday best practices and
• Support sponsored research lifecycle: award setup, budgeting, amendments, cost sharing, billing
• Support core financial processes: GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Assets, Cash Mgmt, FP&A, reporting.
• Lead requirements gathering, mapping, gap analysis, and future-state design for finance workflows.
• Translate business needs into functional specs, configurations, and scalable solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or related field (MBA a plus).
• At least 7 years of experience supporting financial systems.
• At least 5 years hands-on Workday Financial Management (implementation, config, admin, support).
• Experience with Workday Grants Management and sponsored research processes.
• Strong experience building Workday Financials/Grants reports (custom/composite).
• Proven ability to gather requirements, map processes, and design solutions.
