Principal Product Manager (Dataplane)

📋 Description

• Lead dataplane platform vision and roadmap
• Own performance, reliability, and user-facing requirements
• Define topology, capacity, and deployment options for DERP/relays
• Oversee App Connectors, DNS, and network segmentation interfaces
• Collaborate with GTM, CS, and Solutions on enterprise deployments
• Represent dataplane to customers and partners as a domain authority

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in product mgmt for networking/infra at scale
• Deep networking fluency across L4 and application layer
• Experience defining performance commitments and SLOs
• Track record building operator and admin tooling for networks at scale
• Nice to have: VPN/tunneling know-how, global infra ops, data residency, and open-source
