Principal Product Manager (Dataplane)

📋 Description

• Lead the dataplane platform, the critical layer carrying customer traffic across WireGuard, DERP
• Set vision and roadmap for performance, reliability, and scalable connectivity features.
• Own end-to-end strategy for regional expansion, capacity planning, relay health observability, and
• Define operational primitives and production tooling for subnet routers, exit nodes, and Peer
• Own application-layer connectivity surfaces (App Connectors, Services, DNS, network segmentation)
• Represent dataplane externally to customers, cloud partners, and the networking community as a

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in product management owning networking, transport, edge, or infrastructure products at
• Deep networking fluency across L4 routing, NAT traversal, MTU/MSS, latency, and packet loss with
• Ability to define performance commitments and customer-facing SLOs; operate under real production
