Principal Product Manager, Telemetry Collection - Observability

📋 Description

• Define product vision, go-to-market strategy, and execution roadmap for Elastic Agent framework
• Drive remote management capabilities for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, and collector infrastructure
• Oversee packaging, testing, and distribution of Elastic Agent (EDOT) and standalone distributions.
• Lead Kubernetes operators and Helm-based releases for cloud-native deployments.
• Advance OpenTelemetry as the primary data shipper; align receivers/exporters across Elastic Agent
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and product marketing to deliver central management and collector

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Product Management focused on enterprise infrastructure observability, telemetry
• Deep technical familiarity with collectors, log shippers, and agent ecosystems (OpenTelemetry
• Proven track record defining requirements for remote agent management and distributed edge
• Familiarity with Kubernetes operators and Helm Charts; strong understanding of cloud-native
• Experience on IT Ops/DevOps/SRE front lines or as a customer-facing architect/consultant is ideal.
• Excellent communication, able to translate complex architectures into business goals.
