Principal Research Scientist II, Molecular Profiling and Drug Delivery (MPDD)

📋 Description

• Partner with project teams to set lead optimization objectives
• Lead computational design across synthetic modalities
• Benchmark models for performance and applicability
• Explain model choices in relation to project goals
• Develop and improve internal computational models/workflows
• Apply physics-based and AI/ML methods in discovery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry/CI/related field; 16+ yrs, or Master’s 14+ yrs, or PhD
• Extensive computational chemistry and data science experience in medicinal chemistry
• Experience with quantum mechanics, MD, atomistic sims, ML/AI, or hybrids
• Proven model development and workflow deployment across discovery
• Ability to benchmark models and define domains of applicability
• Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and nontechnical audiences
