• Partner with Eng Managers and PMs to translate roadmaps into robust designs.
• Hands-on coding, prototyping new patterns, and solving bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Toast engineers to align on best practices and patterns.
• Guide and mentor engineers to foster technical excellence.

• 10+ years building scalable, mission-critical distributed systems.
• Proven track record leading complex technical initiatives and architectures.
• Strong enthusiasm for agentic development, LLM integration, and modern paradigms.
• Balance whiteboard design with code execution and performance focus.
• Excellent communication with technical and product leadership.
