Privacy and AI Counsel

📋 Description

• Support Lyra’s privacy program and advise on privacy concerns for products and AI.
• Lead AI use case reviews, incl. generative and agentic AI for internal use.
• Draft and maintain AI governance docs, incl. Responsible AI Policy.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure privacy law compliance (CCPA, HIPAA).
• Monitor evolving US privacy laws; advise updates to policy docs.
• Support EU and global AI regulation compliance and horizon scanning.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree from top-tier law school and active state bar.
• 3–5 years in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience with health care privacy laws; CCPA/GDPR; AI governance a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Ability to balance AI legal advice with operational process management.
