Process Automation Controls Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the automation and controls components of capital projects through initial design, detailed
• Serve as the technical authority for automation deliverables, ensuring designs and implementations
• Champion process safety and life-critical work processes, particularly during field activities and
• Collaborate with site leadership, engineering teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate
• Monitor project milestones, technical deliverables, quality requirements, safety performance, and
• Deliver control-system configuration and engineering services to North American operational sites.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Controls, Electrical Engineering, Chemical
• 10+ years of professional experience in Controls Engineering, with a strong record of progressively
• 10+ years of experience working within chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or similarly
• Demonstrated success leading control-focused engineering projects from concept and design through
• Strong experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), such as Emerson DeltaV, ABB 800xA
• Deep understanding of control philosophy for modern process plants, industrial automation
