Process Support Scientist, Microbiology

📋 Description

• Support the AbbVie Technical Operations Function at the North Chicago site.
• Provide technical process ownership and problem solving for commercial APIs and drug products.
• Expertise in aseptic processing and contamination control.
• Own data analysis, reports and experiments for development, validation, and tech transfers.
• Maintain high standards of quality, regulatory compliance and customer service.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field (3-5 yrs).
• MS in same fields (1-3 yrs).
• Strong collaboration, experimental design and mentorship skills.
• Ability to plan, execute and present project results across functions.
• Experience with microbial control and bioprocess design in manufacturing.
