• Raise OpenAI’s craft bar and define what excellent generative UI looks like.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, product, and design to create a coherent GenUI system.
• Build and evolve a GenUI design framework and training material.
• Translate design judgment into high-quality training data and evaluation workflows.
• Shape new generative experiences and strengthen the shared GenUI framework.

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional craft and taste with the ability to raise design quality across OpenAI.
• Advanced command of typography, layout, spacing, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Experience designing and evolving product or design systems at scale.
• Ability to move between foundational systems work and high-craft product experiences.
• Strong ability to explain patterns and when to use them for product teams/models.
• Curiosity about model training, evaluation, and emergent behavior as data.
