Product Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead product development projects for model iterations and design changes for improved user
• Address unmet model needs through rapid prototyping, design and testing with cross-functional teams.
• Create design documentation including part specs, drawings, BOMs, test protocols and reports.
• Collaborate with supplier, manufacturing and quality to enable scalable production and new
• Perform root cause investigations and design failure mode analyses.
• Support successful introductions of new/revised models to manufacturing lines.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in design and product development.
• Knowledge and execution of ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Comfortable working with animal tissue and knowledge of basic anatomy.
• Strong surgical/laboratory terminology, equipment, materials, and procedures.
• Hands-on problem solving of mechanical engineering challenges.
• Proficient with CAD models (SolidWorks) and engineering drawings.
