Product Development Engineering

📋 Description

• Design, analyze, validate mechanical components for exterior products
• Develop solutions for new product introductions and quality issues
• Use NX and/or SolidWorks to create models, assemblies, drawings
• Design for outdoor exposure: wind, UV, temperature, moisture, corrosion
• Plan tests and validate safety, durability, performance
• Coordinate prototypes, pilot runs, and production launches

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience designing mechanical components for consumer/architectural products
• Experience with exterior/outdoor products a plus
• Proficiency in NX and/or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding and extrusion design
• Familiarity with metrology tools and statistical methods
