Product Engineer - Manufacturing Operations

📋 Description

• Own hardware product at the factory; gather manufacturing, test, and yield concerns and drive fixes
• In mass production, deliver engineering changes with minimal disruption; qualify components and
• Travel up to 50% to partner factories in the US and abroad; debug line issues and present action

🎯 Requirements

• Experience taking a hardware product from early builds to mass production at a contract
• Set up or improve assembly/test processes; drive yield, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Proficient in structured manufacturing and root-cause methods (DFM, FMEA, SPC, 8D) and translating
• Ability to write product-specific test plans and evaluate test coverage.
• Strong communication with partner engineers, ops staff, and leadership.
• Willing to travel to partner sites up to 50% of the time; degree in Electrical, Mechanical
