Product Engineer Sustaining - On site

📋 Description

• Collaborate with part suppliers and contract manufacturers on new and existing products to resolve
• Partner with NPI team with R&D, QA, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sourcing, and Operations for
• Design and review 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanisms, sheet metal, plastics, and gearing
• Conduct DFMA, DFI, and DTC reviews to ensure manufacturability, inspectability, and cost
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives via Value Engineering and Design-to-Cost across development
• Review tooling and manufacturing processes, including First Article Inspections and verification of

🎯 Requirements

• Strong root cause analysis capabilities (8D, 5-Why)
• Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) preferred; SolidWorks experience considered
• Experience with FEA, DOE, GD&T, and rapid prototyping (3D printing) is a plus
• Interest in robotics, kinematics, dynamics, mechatronics, and mechanism design
• Injection-molded plastic part design, tooling best practices, and process parameter optimization
• Proven track record bringing products from concept to high-volume manufacturing
