Product Manager, Data Orchestration

📋 Description

• Own the full product lifecycle for data orchestration from needs to release
• Define data-aware orchestration with lineage, freshness, quality, and dependencies
• Expand integrations across the modern data stack (dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, Snowflake, BigQuery
• Create migration paths and docs for moving from Airflow and other schedulers
• Collaborate with leadership to scope features for frequent releases
• Coordinate progress; ensure features are tested, documented, and release-ready

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on, startup-minded product management in minimal-process environments
• Strong practical knowledge of data ecosystem; hands-on data pipelines
• Experience with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Kestra; scheduling and data workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear technical specs and docs
• Ownership mindset; fast iteration and proactive initiatives
• Open-source familiarity; comfortable with public repos and communities
