Product Manager – Developer Tools (Binary Intelligence)

📋 Description

• Conduct discovery interviews with engineers and reverse engineers to understand binary workflows.
• Translate capabilities and pains into a clear, defensible roadmap.
• Continuously validate hypotheses and refine positioning through research and competitive analysis.
• Track reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja) to guide strategy.
• Define and evolve the go-to-market and monetization approach.
• Communicate product progress and strategy to JetBrains sponsors and stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product management or similar ownership.
• Experience building or scaling developer tools, IDE plugins, or technical products.
• Directly influenced success of a technically complex product.
• Strong technical mindset; respected by engineers in compilers and low-level tech.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; turn exploration into product direction.
• Experience in reverse engineering, compiler, security, or binary tooling.
• Experience shaping an early product; validating hypotheses and driving adoption.
• Care about making low-level systems elegant and developer-friendly.
