Product Owner (Australia)

📋 Description

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for an assigned product area.
• Collaborate daily with engineering and design to translate roadmap themes into actionable work.
• Ensure delivered features meet acceptance criteria and business outcomes.
• Gather input from Sales, Customer Success, Support, and customers to inform backlog refinement.
• Track sprint/release progress and report velocity and delivery metrics.
• Negotiate scope, sequencing, and priorities with stakeholders as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, technology, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years as a Product Owner, BA, or related agile role at a software company.
• Practical knowledge of agile/scrum and backlog/sprint tools (Jira or Azure DevOps).
• Ability to translate strategy into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams and leading technical discussions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
