Lead regulatory oversight of state and federal requirements for autonomous vehicle testing and
Design internal controls and perform periodic audits to ensure compliance
Prepare, review, and submit reports with regulators (CPUC, CDMV, NHTSA)
Represent Zoox's compliance programs to internal and external stakeholders
Support cross-functional regulatory team with permits, regulator engagement, legal interpretations

🎯 Requirements

6+ years of legal experience in regulatory reporting and compliance
Ability to excel in fast-paced, innovative environments and act flexibly as needed
Strong problem-solving, curiosity, and independent learning
Excellent business and legal judgment for cross-functional collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to at least one state bar
