Production Shift Supervisor

📋 Description

• Supervise hourly employees in the plant’s continuous production operation.
• Support plant goals: safety, process improvements, labor relations, quality, and productivity.
• Delegate assignments and monitor responsibilities affecting throughput, quality and safety.
• Understand customer requirements and plant emergency procedures.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline employees with strong communication.
• Ensure quality and productivity by monitoring checks and reviewing shifts with key personnel.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Experience supervising/leading people in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, ideally union
• Glass industry experience preferred
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead hourly employees
• Understanding of Flow Manufacturing and Kaizen concepts
• Computer literate
