Profee Coding Specialist

📋 Description

• Provide professional fee coding across one or more medical specialties, assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT
• Review clinical documentation and assign diagnosis and procedure codes to the highest specificity
• Calculate professional fee E/M levels using established coding methodologies and identify critical
• Interpret and apply coding guidelines while assessing how documentation affects code assignment and
• Support client coding requirements across specialties including primary care, cardiology, vascular
• Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity, accuracy and quality

🎯 Requirements

• Active coding certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is required.
• At least 2 years of professional coding experience, preferably with professional fee coding.
• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT and HCPCS.
• Experience with EMR and billing platforms.
• Strong understanding of documentation requirements, coding guidelines, reimbursement implications
• Ability to independently manage coding responsibilities in a remote work environment while meeting
