Program Coordinator / Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)

📋 Description

• Provide direct, person-centered support to adults with IDD, mental health care needs, and other
• Lead onsite skill-building, recreation, education, and community activities
• Model and implement behavior support strategies, redirection, and de-escalation
• Aim for personal goals and greater independence for individuals
• Remain present on the program floor to ensure activities are implemented correctly
• Co-lead DSP staff with day-to-day guidance and support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors in Human Services or related field preferred, equivalent training/experience considered
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with IDD or related needs
• At least 1 year in adult day, vocational, residential, or community disability services
• Experience applying behavior support strategies and de-escalation
• Experience with professional documentation (progress notes, incident reports, data)
