Program Director (Behavioral & Mental Health Focus)

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee residential programs, including high-acuity behavioral homes (AFH settings)
• Supervise, coach, and develop Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Drive implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and partner on FBAs
• Provide leadership during crisis situations with safe, compliant responses
• Collaborate with families, case managers, and clinical teams to ensure quality care
• Manage program operations including staffing, budgets, and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (hiring, coaching, performance management)
• Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring developmental disabilities and mental health
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with behavioral interventions and BSPs
• Proven ability to manage crisis situations, de-escalation, and high-risk behaviors
• Residential, group home, or behavioral health experience highly preferred
