Project Accountant II

📋 Description

• Lead project setup and financial structuring for assigned projects.
• Prepare and review invoices on monthly, interim, and milestone cycles.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Advise leadership on risks/opportunities and required actions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on staffing forecasts and allocations.
• Oversee data integrity and reporting for complex projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in a business-related field
• 5+ years in project accounting, preferably in engineering/architecture/consulting
• Experience leading financial planning for large/complex projects
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint preferred
• Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Understanding of project delivery contract types (Lump Sum, Time & Material, Cost Plus, etc.)
